Indian Chickpea Curry




 Indian Chickpea Curry 

 250 Gm chickpeas ( Boiled without water ) 

 2 medium size tomatoes chopped.

 medium size onion chopped.

 teaspoon of ginger garlic paste.

 2 tablespoons of oil.

 Half teaspoon whole cumin seeds or powder.

 Half teaspoon turmeric powder.

 Half teaspoon chili powder.

 1 teaspoon coriander powder.

 Half teaspoon of mango powder.

 Half teaspoon fenugreek leaves powder ( Kasuri Methi )

 Half teaspoon garam masala.

 1 spoon tomato purée. 

 Half teaspoon salt ( as per you taste )


Take a pan, add 2 tablespoons of oil,

Add chopped onion and sauté them till they get light golden brown in medium heat. 

Add ginger garlic paste and sauté it for 2 minutes, then add chopped tomatoes and

cook them for 5 minutes.

Now add half teaspoon turmeric powder, half teaspoon chili powder.

1 teaspoon coriander powder

Half teaspoon of mango powder.

Half teaspoon garam masala,1 teaspoon tomato purée and half teaspoon fenugreek

leaves and Half teaspoon salt or( as per you taste ) mix it well and cook it for 2

minutes.

Now add half a cup of water and  cover the lid for 5 to 7 minutes and stir it

occasionally. 

Now add chickpeas and mix  them well, add half a glass of water and let it boil for 5

minutes.

Now you can serve it with bread of your choice or rice.
