Indian Chickpea Curry
250 Gm chickpeas ( Boiled without water )
2 medium size tomatoes chopped.
medium size onion chopped.
teaspoon of ginger garlic paste.
2 tablespoons of oil.
Half teaspoon whole cumin seeds or powder.
Half teaspoon turmeric powder.
Half teaspoon chili powder.
1 teaspoon coriander powder.
Half teaspoon of mango powder.
Half teaspoon fenugreek leaves powder ( Kasuri Methi )
Half teaspoon garam masala.
1 spoon tomato purée.
Half teaspoon salt ( as per you taste )
Take a pan, add 2 tablespoons of oil,
Add chopped onion and sauté them till they get light golden brown in medium heat.
Add ginger garlic paste and sauté it for 2 minutes, then add chopped tomatoes and
cook them for 5 minutes.
Now add half teaspoon turmeric powder, half teaspoon chili powder.
1 teaspoon coriander powder
Half teaspoon of mango powder.
Half teaspoon garam masala,1 teaspoon tomato purée and half teaspoon fenugreek
leaves and Half teaspoon salt or( as per you taste ) mix it well and cook it for 2
minutes.
Now add half a cup of water and cover the lid for 5 to 7 minutes and stir it
occasionally.
Now add chickpeas and mix them well, add half a glass of water and let it boil for 5
minutes.
Now you can serve it with bread of your choice or rice.
